Our training methodology

Ashbal group

Growing skills, growing confidence and a deeper understanding of the game.

About this group’s programmes

In the Ashbal group, players progress from learning a skill to applying it thoughtfully on the pitch. We focus on improving ball control, accurate passing and receiving, and connecting individual performance with teamwork. Through progressive exercises and varied playing situations, players learn to read spaces, make decisions and take responsibility, while developing discipline and sportsmanship.

Frequently asked questions

Is this group suitable for a beginner?

Every player has a different starting point. Contact the academy to find the right group based on age, level and previous experience.

Does a player train in just one position?

Trying different roles at this stage helps players broaden their understanding of the pitch and discover their abilities. This is guided by the coaching staff and each player’s development needs.

How does this group differ from the flowers and buds group?

There is greater focus on executing skills accurately and using them during play, with clearer concepts of positioning, support and decision-making.

Does training include a physical component?

The training approach includes developing agility, balance, coordination and speed, taking age and level into account and increasing exercise intensity gradually.

How can I tell that my son is developing?

Development is not measured only by goals scored. It also appears in the quality of receiving, passing accuracy, movement off the ball, speed of decision-making, cooperation and commitment.

Does registration mean participation in tournaments?

Registration in the training programme does not guarantee participation in a particular tournament. Participation depends on the academy’s plan, competition rules, player readiness and selection by the coaching staff.
